Inshallah, during the last 10 days of Ramadan, we have made arrangements for Qiyam-Ul-Layl on Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13 starting at 4:00am at Stonebridge Community Center. Sahoor will be provided.
The Qur’an Institute of Dar-us-Salaam is starting its Fall semester in Rockville during the first week of September. The registration and placement test will take place this Saturday, August 29, at the Islamic Center of Maryland (ICM), from 10 am – 12 pm. The primary focus of the Qur’an Institute is to teach students how to read the Qur’an fluently, while pronouncing the different letters and diacritics of the Qur’an accurately.
Alhamdulillah the Qur’an Institute of Dar-us-Salaam, in cooperation with the Islamic Center of Maryland (ICM), will continue to offer classes in Rockville during Fall 2008. We received a confirmation this Friday to hold our classes at College Gardens Elementary School, which is conveniently located only 5 minutes off Exit 6 on I-270, at 1700 Yale Place, Rockville MD. We encourage all community members to take advantage of this golden opportunity, by embarking upon the noble journey of learning Qur’an in the month of Ramdhaan. Our children and adults who took classes in the summer benefited tremendously from the classes, by the mercy of Allah.
